Skeeter's
FAQ
Q: Are you really running
for president?
A: Yes.
Q: What made you decide to
run?
A: It felt like now was the
right time. I want to bring some fun and friendliness back to the
club.
Q: You really have no competion,
so why the campaign?
A: This campaign is designed
to put some fun back into the club elections, and to make shameless
plugs for myself.
Q: Have you received any
public endorsements for your candidacy?
A: Joan Rivers of course
backs me, and Kathy Griffen has been reportedly trying to contact
me to figure out how she can get involved in my D-List campaign run.
Q: What do you plan to do
for the Ursamen as President?
A: Nothing. This is all about
publicity!
Q: Really?
A: Seriously, I plan to expand
the membership in the next two years, and to increase the club's profile
in the communities we serve. Hence, publicity.
Q: What are your qualifications
for the job?
A: I've been in the club
since 1994. I've served three times as Member-At-Large, twice as Webmaster,
and two years as Newsletter Editor. I have a lot of friends in the
club and hope create an experience they won't soon forget.
Q: What does the current
President, Ed think of all this?
A: I don't really know, though
I'd say he's pretty shocked.
Q: What does your husband
Matt say about all this?
A: He supports me 100% on
this.
Q: Anything else you'd like
to say?
A: Yes, lots actually. I
guess I'm going to need a press conference! But the short answer is,
if you're a member of the Ursamen, we need your votes, and this isn't
lip service when we say that quorums are important... so mark the
11th of October on your calendar and VOTE FOR ME!
